Description
GD-5X series are designed to be used as external detectors in very sensitive portable dose rate meters for environmental measurements, as the detectors in process monitors (liquid activity monitors etc.) and in laboratory applications.
The core of the probe is a scintillation crystal made of NaI(Tl), YAP(Ce), CeBr3, or CLYC:Ce with a photomultiplier.
On request, probes with other types of scintillators, such as LaBr3, YaG(Ce), or Ca(F2), can also be manufactured.
