Description
The FRM-03 monitor is designed for the measurement and analysis of radioactive substances that may be contained in the measured waste materials.
The measurement is carried out in a shielded measuring tunnel using three semiconductor HPGe detectors. The measured materials are placed into containers, which move on a rail conveyor.
By comparing the measured and calculated activities with the clearance levels, the equipment software decides whether the measured material can be free released into the environment or not.
All processes are fully automated and controlled by the control software.
