AGM-122 High Dose Rate Monitor

AGM-122 High Dose Rate Monitor

The AGM-122 High Dose Rate Monitor has been developed for high gamma dose rate measurement in challenging conditions.

Description

The AGM-122 High Dose Rate Monitor is a fixed radiation monitoring system developed for the measurement of gamma dose rate in nuclear facilities, reactor environments, cyclotron areas, and applications where high radiation levels may occur.

The AGM-122 assists in the reliable monitoring of high gamma dose rate levels under operational conditions and demanding facility environments. The system can be utilized for dose rate tracking in high radiation areas with a wide measurement range up to 200 Gy/h.

The monitor consists of a GD-22 high dose rate detector, an ionization chamber measurement structure, connection cables, and an RPU radiation processing unit. The detector has been designed to withstand high temperature, pressure, and radiation conditions.

The Cs-137 check source located within the GD-22 detector assists in the regular functional verification of the detector. The RPU processing unit enables local display of measurement values, monitoring of alarm levels, and transfer of measurement data to facility systems.

The AGM-122 supports data transfer to safety systems via analog signal and relay outputs, and to standard radiation monitoring systems via a galvanically isolated serial communication interface.
