Description
The HF-6 Hand-Foot Contamination Monitor is a fixed contamination monitor developed for measuring surface contamination caused by alpha, beta, and gamma-emitting radionuclides on the hands, feet, and clothing of personnel exiting radiation-controlled areas.
The HF-6 is specifically utilized for personnel contamination control in nuclear facilities, radioactive waste management areas, research centers, nuclear medicine units, and industrial radiation applications.
The device employs four hand detectors to enable simultaneous control of the palm and dorsal surfaces of both hands. For foot contamination measurement, two scintillation detectors are integrated. This configuration accelerates the measurement process and ensures high operational efficiency at personnel access points.
The gas-free intelligent scintillation detectors, featuring an integrated processor structure with self-contained calibration constants, offer rapid detector replacement and simplified calibration. The control electronics, positioned in a separate compartment, assist in reducing the risk of contamination.
Alarm levels, radionuclides, measurement units, and preset settings can be rapidly selected via the graphical touchscreen interface. Measurement results are viewable on the device display, exportable via USB memory, and remotely monitorable through a web interface via Ethernet connection.
