Description
The MDG-08e Smart Dose Rate Meter is a smart detector system developed to perform gamma dose rate measurements in area monitoring and environmental radiation monitoring applications.
Thanks to its wide measurement range, the MDG-08e can be utilized in various radiation conditions, from background radiation levels to high dose rate levels. It provides reliable measurement support in facility, field, and environmental applications where continuous monitoring of gamma radiation is required.
Equipped with two Geiger-Mueller tubes in its standard configuration, the system evaluates measurement signals via its internal processor control unit. This structure enables the calculation of instantaneous and average measurement values, archiving of measurement history, and system status monitoring.
The third control GM tube, present in selected models, assists in advanced automatic detector fault detection without the need for a radioactive control source. Its outdoor-suitable design, alarm functions, and LED status indicator allow for integration into fixed radiation monitoring systems.
