Description
The LAM-561 Liquid Activity Monitor is an advanced radiation monitoring system designed to continuously measure the volumetric activity of gamma-emitting radionuclides present in process liquids within nuclear facilities. Its structure, developed to operate in high-temperature liquids, ensures reliable measurement under routine operational, accident, and post-accident conditions.
The system performs total gamma activity and, optionally, radionuclide-based activity analyses by passing the liquid sample taken from the flow line through the measurement chamber. Its spectrometric measurement infrastructure supports the detection of multiple gamma-emitting radionuclides.
The LAM-561 displays and archives measurement results and manages alarm conditions via its radiation processing unit. It supports process safety and radiation control procedures by providing integration with central radiation monitoring systems.
