Description

The HRGD-50 High Dose Rate Detector is a compact detector system developed for the detection of ionizing radiation in challenging operating conditions where high dose rates or strong electromagnetic interferences are expected.

The HRGD-50 can be utilized to provide reliable dose rate measurement, particularly in research facilities with particle accelerators, nuclear facilities, and specialized applications where high radiation levels may occur.

The system consists of an ionizing radiation detector, an evaluation unit, and a high radiation-resistant fiber optic cable that provides the connection between the detector and the electronic unit. This structure allows the detector to be positioned in a challenging radiation field, while the electronic unit can be located at a more suitable point.

Different scintillation crystals such as NaI(Tl), CeBr, or YAP(Ce) can be preferred according to application requirements. The detector material and size can be selected based on the radiation level to be measured and the field conditions.

With its compact dimensions, the HRGD-50 can be used in confined spaces, offering a flexible detector solution that can be integrated into central radiation monitoring systems at facility points requiring high dose rate measurement.
