PAM-100 Portable Activity Meter

PAM-100 Portable Activity Meter

The PAM-100 Portable Activity Meter has been developed for alpha, beta, and gamma surface contamination measurement.

Description

The PAM-100 Portable Activity Meter is a portable activity measurement device developed for measuring alpha, beta, and gamma surface contamination on personnel, equipment, surfaces, and objects.

The PAM-100 series provides fast, precise, and practical surface contamination control through its gasless scintillation detector technology and photomultiplier-based measurement structure. With various model options, it offers configurations suitable for alpha, beta, and gamma contamination measurements.

The device allows for rapid searching of contaminated surfaces in Ratemeter mode; in Contamat mode, it enables evaluation of contamination or cleanliness by comparing a specific area against a set threshold value.

It offers ease of use in the field thanks to its graphic display and three-button user interface. Measurement values can be displayed numerically or as a bar graph; they can be monitored in different units such as activity, surface activity, and count rate according to the selected radionuclide.

The PAM-100 supports quick selection of pre-saved measurement settings for measurement mode, unit, radionuclide, response factor, and alarm levels. Ambient gamma dose equivalent rate measurement can also be performed with the optional integrated GM tube.
