Description
The RDU-02 Radiation Display Unit is a compact display unit developed for the local display, archiving, and alarm status monitoring of measurement values from detectors in radiation monitoring systems.
The RDU-02 enables easy on-site monitoring of data from 1 to 4 measurement channels. Instantaneous measurement values and system status from connected detectors are presented to the user via a color touchscreen display.
The device provides visual and audible warnings if predefined alarm levels are exceeded. It can be integrated into in-facility warning systems through optional relay outputs and external alarm units.
Connection to various radiation detectors can be established via Ethernet or optional RS-485 interfaces. Measurement values can be archived locally and simultaneously transferred to central radiation monitoring systems via Ethernet connection.
Alarm levels and certain operating parameters of connected detectors can be adjusted via the touchscreen display. For more demanding industrial environments, the RDU-02R version with a metal housing and integrated signal lamp may also be preferred.
