PM1703GNA-II MBT Personal Radiation Detector / Dosimeter

PM1703GNA-II MBT Personal Radiation Detector / Dosimeter

The PM1703GNA-II MBT Personal Radiation Detector / Dosimeter has been developed for gamma and neutron radiation detection.

Description

The PM1703GNA-II MBT Personal Radiation Detector / Dosimeter is a compact radiation detector/dosimeter developed for gamma and neutron radiation detection, personal dose rate measurement, and personal dose monitoring.

The PM1703GNA-II MBT assists in the rapid identification of radioactive sources in public safety, border control, CBRNe teams, first responders, and radiation safety applications. Its gamma and neutron detection capability enables effective use in various radiological threat scenarios.

The device detects gamma radiation with a high-sensitivity CsI(Tl) SiPM and GM detector structure, and identifies neutron radiation with a ⁶LiF/ZnS detector structure. Its extended dose rate measurement range allows for use in both low-level search applications and higher radiation fields.

The NORM suppression algorithm assists in more clearly distinguishing alarm conditions originating from natural radiation sources versus man-made radiation sources. Audible, visual, and vibrating alarm alerts enable the user to react quickly in the field.

Through Bluetooth and USB communication features, the device can be utilized with the Polismart® mobile application or desktop software. Measurement history can be stored in the device memory and transferred to a computer when required.
